DOVAS LIETUVNINKAS

A native of Chicago, Illinois, Dovas Lietuvninkas received degrees in trumpet and music education at the Eastman School of Music where he studied with James Thompson. In 2017 he received a U.S. Fulbright grant to study trumpet and Lithuanian folk instruments in Vilnius, Lithuania, where, in 2018, he joined the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra as principal trumpet. In 2021 he received his master’s degree in trumpet from the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki under the tutelage of Pasi Pirinen and spent the 2021-2022 concert season as a member of the academy of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam. Dovas returned to the United States in 2023. He is based in Providence, Rhode Island, and is currently principal trumpet of the New Haven Symphony Orchestra. Dovas is a passionate educator and advocate of new music, having commissioned and premiered many new works for trumpet, and is always seeking to cross boundaries and build bridges across all audiences and musics, from folk to the avant-garde.
BAILEY PAUGH

Vermont-based trumpeter Bailey Paugh aims to cross as many disciplinary boundaries as  possible. As a performer and researcher, she is interested in the relationships between body,  instrument, and technology, as well as multi-media and intertextuality, and enjoys playing  music from pop and rock to jazz, classical, and the avant-garde. 
A Licensed Body Mapping Educator since 2019, Bailey works with musicians to connect  movement and sound to improve technique, give freer and more embodied performances, and  prevent injury. She has given Body Mapping workshops, clinics, and masterclasses across the  U.S. and presented her research on the use of Body Mapping in trumpet pedagogy as part of  the Association for Body Mapping Education’s webinar series. Bailey has also taught music  theory at Portland State University and with the Portland Youth Philharmonic, maintains a  private studio of trumpet and other brass students, and has presented research on gender and  the country music industry at the SHE Festival of Women in Music. 
Bailey holds degrees from the Eastman School of Music (DMA, BM) and Portland State  University (MM) where she studied with James Thompson and Dave Bamonte.

DEMIAN SPINDLER
trumpet player
Demian, originally from Rochester, NY, graduated from the University of Rochester with degrees in economics and math. Aiming for a lucrative career in investment banking or quantitative analysis, he did the logical thing and became a photographer, mostly working with arts and charitable organizations. He specializes in ballet photography and portraiture. An avid traveler, Demian has spent time around the world experiencing different cultures and taking photos and recording videos. In 2016, Demian and his friend Mikey Jarrell filmed and produced "The Cuban Method," a documentary about ballet in Cuba. He currently lives with his partner, Kayleigh, in St Andrews, Scotland.
He also plays the trumpet.
